What is Tutor.com and how do I get to it?
Friendly specialists and professional tutors are waiting to give you individual one-on-one assistance 7 days a week from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day. All you need to do is to enter your Finkelstein Library card number to have access. Online tutors are available for students grades K through 12, and can help with a full range of subjects including: math, science, English, assignment research and study skills.
All of the interaction between you and a tutor takes place in a secure online classroom. While in session, you chat one-to-one using instant messaging and the interactive whiteboard for brainstorming ideas, drawing diagrams and working through problems.
Tutors are qualified experts in their subject areas and are specially trained in online tutoring for young people.
