One of the most popular features of our library services have been our free museum passes to world-class museums in New York City and its surrounding areas. We are very pleased to announce that we will soon be adding 2 new passes to our collection:
1. New York Botanical Garden
Explore this world-famous treasure in the Bronx. It features 50 diverse gardens and plant collections across 250 acres of year-round beauty, including 30,000 magnificent trees. Enjoy exciting hands-on activities for the entire family in two gardens designed especially for children that connect plants and people.
2. Museum Village in Monroe, NY.
A living history museum celebrating 19th century life in an early-American village. Explore the buildings and grounds, taste the food, and perform the tasks of life as it was in the 19th century.
We are awaiting final processing of both passes by the museums and hope to have them available for checkout by the end of this month. Meanwhile, please take advantage of our other free passes to exciting and educational institutions in our area!
