Tax Assistance at the Library

This year the Library is again serving as a site for AARP Tax-Aide. Volunteer tax preparers will be available to assist in the preparation of state and federal tax returns :

Mondays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from February 6 through April 16, 2012.

* Please note: On Feb. 20 (Presidents' Day), the preparers willl be available from 1 - 3 p.m.

Bring all tax papers for 2011 and copies of 2010 tax returns. For additional information, please call AARP at 1-800-AARP-NOW.

PICK UP TAX FORMS AT THE LIBRARY

The Library will have printed copies of the most popular tax forms from the IRS and New York State beginning mid-January. These forms will be found on the third floor of the Library.
