Having car troubles? Weekend mechanics and car-owners know that they can rely on the Chilton manuals to give reliable repair and maintenance information for car, truck, van, and SUV models. And, thanks to a free online database available at our library, finding just the right procedure or diagram has become easier.

Chilton Library can be accessed from a home computer 24/7 by anyone who has a Finkelstein Memorial Library card.

The database covers thousands of domestic and import models from the past 30 years, with updates added monthly.  Some of the features include:

• Visit the library Web site at http://finkelsteinlibrary.org
• Click on “Articles and Databases” at the top of the page,
• Enter your library card number
• Select ChiltonLibrary from the list of databases.
• Enter the Year, Make and Model of Your Car
  
  You’ll notice many other online databases which the library has made available to you. These are specialized databases, paid for by the library but free to you. You can find much more detail from these databases than you'll find in a Google or Yahoo search on the web.
