The Library is very proud of the services we were able to provide to our community after the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. We provided a safe and warm building for those without power or heat. Our free Wi-Fi and public computers for accessing the Internet were heavily used. In addition, many patrons were charging their phones, reading books, catching up on their schoolwork, enjoying free programming, or just talking to their neighbors. We answered calls about purchasing generators, finding open gas stations, availability of dry ice, etc.
As always, we greatly appreciate your support of your Library and we are happy to be of help in any way we can. We are open seven days a week and offer a host of programs and services. We hope you will visit us often!
