Winter 2013 Music Concerts at the
Finkelstein Memorial Library

Our Winter Sunday afternoon music concert series will begin January 13 and run through March 10, 2013 on the Sundays shown below. We hope you can attend all three! All of the concerts are FREE and take place in the Library's Fielding Room on the third floor. Doors to the Fielding Room open at 1:45 p.m.

Marc Mathelier and Michele Sorel

Marc Mathelier, a native of Liberia, began playing classical guitar at the age of eleven. A versatile guitarist and avid musician, his styles of repertoire range from Baroque to Fusion-Alternative/New Age.

Singer Michele Sorel is a versatile performer of folk, pop, classical and world music. She has performed on the stages of Avery Fisher Hall - NYC, Carnegie Hall - NYC, The Music Center - LA, Center in the Square-ONT, Teatro Municipal-Rio, Brasil, Auditorio Manuel de Falla- Granada, Spain, Societo Filharmonica-Trento, Italy, and Palais Lichtenstein-Vienna, Austria to name a few.

Mara Levine and Caroline Cutroneo

Mara Levine and Caroline Cutroneo have beautiful voices which blend in uncannily moving harmonies. They have been singing original, traditional and contemporary folk and blues together for over 10 years. A show with Mara and Caroline is highly entertaining as they always invite audience participation.

They have made repeat appearances at area venues such as WRSU, The People’s Voice Cafe, the Minstrel Coffeehouse, the Good Coffeehouse and WVBR Bound For Glory and appeared at other prestigious venues including The Borderline Folk Club, Beacon Sloop Club Corn Festival, Hurdy Gurdy Folk Club, Falrlawn, NJ, and the Historic Richmondtown Tavern (Staten Island).
