Spring Valley residents celebrated the village's ninth annual "Spring Valley Day" on Sunday, August 12, 2012.This is an annual family festival celebrating the diversity (nearly 40 nationalities represented) and unity of the village of Spring Valley, New York.The cultural festival, held in Memorial Park, is Spring Valley's largest outdoor celebration of the year, offering a host of educational and cultural events, food, concerts and other activities at no cost to attendees.

Finkelstein Memorial Library proudly participated again this year with activities, educational games, and information about upcoming library programs and classes. Free gifts such as bookmarks, pencils, etc. were distributed.
