Despite the rainy weather, this year's country fair on Sunday, May 5 was a resounding success. The events were just moved indoors!
There were many fun activities for the whole family: music by our favorite jug band, a magician, a stilt-walker, face painting, clowns, jugglers, caricaturists, a puppet show, henna tattoos, indoor miniature golf, and a baking contest. Food was provided by a kosher food vendor, a Spanish food truck, and an Indian food vendor... and, of course, free popcorn was provided to all.
Thanks to the library staff, the library board of trustees, and to the Friends of Finkelstein Memorial Library who helped make the fair possible. Most of all, thanks to all of our patrons who attended this year's fair. We hope to see you all again next year!
