There are many ways the 2020 Census can shape our community. The results, collected once a decade, help determine how billions of dollars in federal funding flow into states and communities each year. The most important thing that you can do is participate! 2020 Census Kick-Off Event Took Place At The Library On: Mon., Dec. 9, 2019
Keith Camire, partnership specialist with the U.S. Census Bureau and other local officials shared important information about the 2020 U.S. Census at a kick-off event at the library on Monday, December 9, 2019. Among those in attendance were the following representatives:

The television taping of the 2020 Census kick off event will be aired in January 2020, on Optimum by Altice USA. Specific channels are each local area's public access channel. The time will be Mondays and Saturdays at 8 PM. The purpose of the 2020 Census taping is to reach persons who may not be able to attend library seminars and/or do not have access to the internet. This is part of this Library's efforts towards contributing to the goal of a complete and accurate 2020 Census count.
